MWH/Webcor, JV is committed to providing pathways into the construction trades for Bayview-Hunter’s Point residents through the project’s Neighborhood Hiring Program. Through partnerships with community based organizations in the area that provide pre-apprenticeship training, the program offers case management and resource support. The BDFP adheres to the City & County of San Francisco’s Local Hire policy and focuses on maximizing workforce development.

COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS (CBOs)

Our partnerships with CBOs provide resources to the local community to forge a successful career in construction, including assistance with job placement, support for on-the-job training, and overcoming obstacles and barriers to employment such as housing, childcare, licensing or certifications, or other needs.

COMMITMENT TO LOCAL WORKFORCE

The BDFP fosters opportunity for the local Bayview-Hunters Point community through working with Local Business Enterprises (LBEs) committed to hiring local workers.
